Photo library access
With your permission, Letelia accesses photos, videos, and related photo library data to show collections, compare photos, and carry out deletions you confirm. This data may include item identifiers, dates, file sizes, duration, Favorites status, and location already attached to a photo.
Existing photo location data may be used on your device to group photos taken nearby. The app does not request your current location. You can limit or revoke photo access in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Letelia.
Photo analysis
Letelia uses Apple's on-device image analysis and, when available, an on-device Apple Intelligence model to compare photos and suggest items to review. Analysis may consider image content, sharpness, exposure, facial geometry, and text in a photo. Face information is used to assess a shot, not to identify a person. Recognized text helps keep documents from being recommended for deletion.
Photo content is not sent to external AI services; Private Cloud Compute is not used for analysis. Analysis results are suggestions only. You decide what to keep.
On-device data
Letelia stores identifiers of viewed items and files set aside for deletion, plus local statistics about deleted photos and videos and approximate file sizes. This lets you resume browsing and see your progress. Temporary analysis results may be kept in app memory to avoid repeating work.
These records stay on your device and are not sent to us. App data remains until the app updates or removes it, or until you delete the app. Deleting the app removes local data; offloading it may preserve that data. Backup and restore depend on your Apple device settings.
iCloud and deletion
If an item is stored in iCloud, the Photos app may download it for display or analysis in Letelia. This transfer uses Apple's services and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Moving an item to Letelia's in-app trash does not delete it from the photo library. Confirmed deletion is carried out through Apple Photos and may sync across devices when iCloud Photos is enabled. Recovery and permanent deletion happen in Photos; see Apple's guide.
Accounts, ads, and tracking
Letelia does not require an account. The current version has no ads, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. The app does not sell data from your photo library or use it for advertising.
Support and this website
If you choose to contact support, the contact details and information you provide will be used to respond. Please do not attach personal photos unless necessary and you choose to do so.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no analytics, advertising scripts, external fonts, or cookies set by Letelia. Details about how website technical logs and future support correspondence are handled, including retention periods, will be clarified before the app is released.
Your choices
You can change the app's Photos access, choose not to use analysis, remove items from the in-app trash before confirming deletion, and delete Letelia's local data by deleting the app. Letelia has no server copy of your photo library for you to ask us to delete. Questions about information you voluntarily send to support can be raised through the future public contact channel.
Policy updates
If our data practices change, this page will be updated. The date above will indicate the latest version.
